In March 2022, during peach and pear blossom in Ha Giang province, more than 50 ethnic minority women in the district of UNESCO ‘We are ABLE’ project joined a learning visit. From Bac Me, Dong Van, Hoang Su Phi, Quang Binh, and Vi Xuyen districts, they came together in Quan Ban district to learn from the community-based tourism model Nam Dam homestay.
At Nam Dam homestay, these ethnic minority women learned about the homestay establishment, local material utilization for geographic and cultural appropriation, local culture introduction through the collaborative value chain in the village, and tourism development while protecting the environment.
