Ben Tre Homestay And Cai Be Cruise

Pick – up at hotel & drive through the countryside to Mekong Delta. (Driver only)

At My Tho, meet with the local guide, take a boat along Tien river to an orchard garden. Enjoy a brief walk on the island, trying native fruits. Visit a bee farm and to enjoy tea and candies. Float on a sampan through the narrow, tree-lined canals of the Mekong Delta.

Continue by boat to Tan Thach commune to visit a family-run enterprise making coconut candies. Enjoy lunch at Qui Island. After lunch continue by boat to Phu Tuc village for an overnight stay. Enjoy fishing and sightseeing during a late-afternoon rowboat trip along the Tien river. Visit a local family home and have a dinner of traditional Mekong Delta foods. After dinner take in a performance of traditional rural music.

Spend the night in a local house of Phu Tuc in Ben Tre. (Lunch, Dinner)

After breakfast we drive to Cai Be. On arrival, we take a boat trip to the floating market, an authentic Delta house, a fruit wholesale market, and boat to a family-run business producing rice paper – a key ingredient in Vietnamese cuisine.

We then visit some local cottage industries such as the coconut candy workshop, learn how to make pop-rice, or witnessing the process of making rice paper.

Continue with our cruise through the maze of the criss – cross canals at An Binh Island, we land at an ancient house. Here we taste the fresh tropical fruits of the Delta and have lunch with local cuisines.

After lunch, take a short row on local sampan, then get back on motor boat to go to the Nursery Garden of Mr Tam Ho. Afterward, we cruising to visit the Brick & pottery kiln to learn how the local make products then go Vinh Long town to meet our driver.

Drive back from Vinh Long town to Ho Chi Minh. End of service. (Breakfast / Lunch)
