Cuc Phuong National Park is the first recognized and most well protected nature reserve in Vietnam. The Park’s primary tropical rainforest is home to an amazing variety of wildlife and in recent years several species have been discovered here. There are almost 2000 species of trees and amongst them lives some amazing and rare animals including the clouded leopard, Delacour’s Langur, Owston’s Civet, Otters and Asian Black Bears…
The Van Long submerged land, covering an area of 2,643 hectares, is the largest sub-merged natural protected site in North Vietnam. A rowing boat trip on the swampy water of Van Long is the time for you to truly enjoy, with all the senses, the beauty of nature.

Boat trip in Van Long nature reserve, Cuc Phuong Visitor Center, Endangered Primate Rescue Center, Turle Conversation Center, Botanical Garden, Half day jungle trek (~10km on loop trail), Bird watching, Wildlife night-spotting (2 ½ – 3 hours).
Leave Hanoi to Van Long Nature Reserve. Here we will take a sampan boat trip to admire the beauty of this area nature. Continue onto Cuc Phuong national park, once we have settled into our rooms, we will visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, Turtle Conversation Centre and learn about the conversation works that are being done at this well protected National Park. A walk in the botanical garden is optional

Evening: In the evening you, the national park’ guide will enter the pitch dark forest and use a spotting lamp and search for the forest numerous nocturnal creatures, which include civets, owls, flying squirrels, lorises, bats and cats..

You will be awaked by the sounds of the jungle. After breakfast, leave headquarter of the national park for the primary forest from where you will trek for 2 ½ to 3 ½ hours, passing limestone slopes and tree of over a million years old. The destination is an ancient tree in the hope of seeing Cuc Phuong mascot and one of the rarest primates on the planet, the Delacour langur. We then are transferred back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at around 18:00 pm. Tour ends. (Breakfast, lunch)

• Lightweight and quick dry clothing is most appropriate for the summer months and warmer clothing for the winter months;
• Travel Documents: Passport, visa, Travel Insurance.
