Itinerary

Day 1Sai Gon Arrival (D)

Upon Arrival in Saigon, our car and tour guide will meet you at Tan Son Nhat Airport. Transfer to your hotel in centre of city for check-in, you will have free at leisure in rest of the day before dinner.

Day 2Saigon - Cu Chi – Ben Tre (B, L)

Leaving Saigon by a drive to Cu Chi. Before entering the tunnels for the an hour exploring the maze of tunnels, you will watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. Proceed to My Tho, you will stop at Mekong Rest Stop in middle way for lunch then keep going to My tho for taking a private boat to Turtle Island. Going to a Bee Farm to try some honey tea, and taste local confectionery before back to the harbor for overnight at Ben Tre.

Day 3Ben Tre - Cai Be – Sai Gon (B, L)

After breakfast, taking a drive to Cai Be to visit the  for the floating market and authentic Delta house by boat. From some local cottage industries, you can learn how to make pop-rice, or witnessing the process of making rice paper. Continue cruising, you land at an ancient house in An Binh Island. For tasting fresh tropical fruits and having lunch with local cuisines. After lunch, you get back on motor boat to the Nursery Garden of Mr Tam Ho. Continue to visit a Brick & pottery kiln, then head to Vinh Long town for turning back Ho Chi Minh for staying.

Day 4Sai Gon – Da Nang - Hoi An (B, L, D)

Free at leisure in the morning, you take a noon flight to Da Nang. After lunch, you go to Hoi An around 30 minutes by car. Check in hotel then free time until dinner. You will spend a night in Hoi An ancient town.

Day 5Hoi An (B, L)

Take walking tour around this enchanting port town and visit its numerous places of interest: 400 years old Japanese Bridge, 300 years old Chinese temple, 200 years old Vietnamese former merchants’ house, the local fish market. After lunch in local restaurant, you will have a chance to ride a “Xich Lo or pedicab” through opposite site of Hoi An River bank, through the tiny lanes of Hoi An countryside, stop over a local fishing village and get on boat for 2 hours streaming down to Cua Dai estuary.

Day 6Hoi An – Hue (B)

Transfer to Hue in the morning, your first stop is the Marble Mountain where you can see some marble factories and see their art works. You will have a chance to see China Beach then Cham Museum where displayed the exhibitions of Cham people. Up to Sea cloud pass (Hai Van Pass) – the highest pass in the country with the best sightseeing in Vietnam. Stop at Lang Co beach before reaching Hue city for a night (Entrance fees not included).

Day 7Hue – Hanoi (B, D)

Getting flight VN240 – 08:00AM to Hanoi, you have one hour Cyclo Tour through the Old Quarter to discover Ha Noi in late afternoon . Return you to your hotel around 6pm. If prefer you can watch a performance of the famous Water Puppet Theatre at night.

Day 8Hanoi – Ha Long (B, L, D)

Driving to Ha Long about 3 hour-and-a-half, you embark on Oriental Sails followed by cruise briefing and then savor a delectable lunch on cruiser. Along the limestone islands of Fighting Cock, Turtle Island… you will visit Amazing Cave and kayak along the hidden parts of the bay. Swimming, snapping photos or just relaxing in the beach till Dinner is served. Overnight on board.

Day 9Ha Long – Hanoi (B, L, D)

Start your day with swimming, doing exercise or photo hunting before have breakfast at sunrise, you continue cruise to Ba Hang Fishing Village, pass Dog Rock, Incense Burner, and then head back to the Harbor at noon. You will be transferred back to Hanoi for staying.

Day 10Hanoi - Luang Prabang (B)

Arrival in Luang Prabang by flight from Hanoi, you will visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai; Climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa and a beautiful sunset view of the city and  Mekong River. From there, you can explore Street Night Market before bavk to the hotel.

Day 11Luang Prabang (B)

After breakfast, you enjoy a short-guided tour to see the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground. Boarding a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives you a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, and stop at the village of Ban Xanghai. A short drive to Ban Phanom is a worth place when you return to Luang Prabang for a night.

Day 12Luang Prabang – Vientiane

At leisure in Vientiane, you will have plenty of time to explore the charming capital of Cambodia with its ancient sacred sites and cosmopolitan modernity.

Day 13Vientiane (B)

After breakfast, the tour to visit major sights of the capital include the oldest Wat Sisaket, the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you will stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph.

Day 14Vientiane Departure

Transfer for departure at Wattay Airport or Friendship Bridge that links to Thailand.
