The Marble Mountains, also referred to as Ngu Hanh Son or Mountains of the Five Elements, consist of five marble mountains: wood, metal, soil, fire and water which is the highest one. This place is also famous for their traditional stonemasonry activities, 600 families chisel stone statues, jewellery, and art work. Stone from the Marble Mountains has been exported to many countries.
The Cham Museum was built in 1915 with the financial support of the French Far-East Research Institute in Vietnam. At present, the museum displays approximately 300 sculptures, among which some are made from terracotta from the period between the 5th and 15th centuries …

Depart from the hotel for Marble mountain. Take a lift up to Thuy Son (Water moutain) and enjoy the panoramic view of the nearby countryside, and visit Huyen Khong cave before entering Tam Thai and Linh Ung pagodas. Rest at the foot of the mountain, where you can visit Non Nuoc stone carving village, where the local skillful sculptors create many marble products which are exported to many countries worldwide. On the way to Danang, visit the Cham museum. Then have lunch at a local restaurant, before returning to Hoi An.
