Itinerary

Day 1Saigon – Arrival

On arrival in Saigon, you will be picked up then transfer to hotel for check in. Enjoy your rest day at leisure.

Day 2Saigon - City tour

After breakfast, we start a trip around Sai Gon: The Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, Thien Hau Pagoda and the Ben Thanh with wide selection of souvenirs. (B, L)

Day 3Cai Be - Vinh Long - Sa Dec

Drive to Cai Be to embark on cruise at 10.00 am, we start to visit Cai Be floating market, the traditional mandarin house and then stop at family confectionaries. After lunch at “Le Longanier” in Phu An Hamlet, we cruise to Sa Dec via Vinh Long, Dong Phu and An Binh islet. Tour in Sa Dec includes the local market and Trung Vuong primary school. Overnight on board. (B, L)

Day 4Sa Dec - Long Xuyen - Cho Moi

We cruise upstream to Long Xuyen with lunch is served on route. There are a quick tour of Long Xuyen and onward to “Cu Lao Ong Ho” Tiger Island to visit Ton Duc Thang Museum. We continue upstream to Chau Doc with stops for your cycling along the banks. Your dinner will be hosted by the family in the suburbs of Cho Moi before on board for the night. (B, L)

Day 5Cho Moi - Chau Doc

Early morning, breakfast is served en route to Chau Doc. We cruise on a little arm of the Mekong to observe the making of boats, bamboo baskets, palm roofing and net fishing. Reaching Chau Doc late in the morning, we disembark for a night on river. (B,L)

Day 6Chau Doc – Phnom Penh by speedboat

Morning departure by speedboat on the Mekong River to Phnom Penh, you will have time to explore the Cambodian capital at leisure. (B)

Day 7Phnom Penh – Capital of Cambodia

Begin your tour with a visit to the city’s namesake, Wat Phnom, the Royal Palace with Silver Pagoda and a gold gilded Buddha inlaid, the National Museum of Khmer; continue to The Killing Fields of Choeung Ek and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum after lunch. Our last stop is Russian Market (Psah Tuol Thom Pong) for your souvenir collections. (B, L)

Day 8Phnom Penh - Seam Reap

Transfer to Airport for flight to Siem Reap, check in hotel. The town has some worthwhile attractions and a number of beautiful modern Buddhist Temples. (B, L)

Day 9Siem Reap & Angkor

Exploring Angkor Thom, we go to the Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, the Royal Palace, the Elephant Terraces and the Leper King Terrace. Then visit magnificent Angkor Wat and end the day with a spectacular sunset at the mountain temple of Phnom Bakheng. (B, L)

Day 10Siem Reap Handicrafts

Drive from Siem Reap to the Silk Farm, we have a chance to learn the different stages of the complex process of producing handmade silk.  Return to Siem Reap, we visit Stone and Woodcarving School where copies of the ancient Khmer Temple carvings are produced for the commercial market along with many other interesting pieces. Day 11Siem Riep flight to Vientiane

Free day in Siem Reap until transfer to airport for flight to Vientiane. As on arrival, you will be picked you up then transfer to hotel for check in. (B)

Day 12Vientiane

At leisure in Vientiane, you can find antiques, handicrafts and superb hand woven silk fabrics. You may stroll along the waterfront or try a Tuk-tuk ride. (B)

Day 13Vientiane

Morning visiting the major sights of the capital which include the oldest temple Wat Sisaket and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. (B, L)

Day 14Vientiane – Vang Vieng

Morning drive to Vang Vieng, explore this quaint and peaceful town by a kayaking adventure on the Nam Song River. Along the way, we enjoy the tranquil landscape before stopping at a couple of caves, which you can explore by swimming. Then reach to the riverside bungalow to enjoy the sunset. (B, L)

Day 15Vang Vieng

Northwards to the mountain region, we visit the busy and colorful market of Thalat. We then reach to Vang Xang, the archeological site dating back 11th century. After checking into hotel, we take a wander to catch our first glimpse of this hill town. (B, L)

Day 16Vang Vieng - Luang Prabang

Heading out of town we explore the famous cave of Tham Jang that was once used by local people as a hideout from Chinese invaders. We also cross the river to Ban Huai Ngai for exploring the different local lifestyle. Upon leaving Vang Vieng, we wind our way through Kasi and Phoukhoune before reach to Luang Prabang for a night. Day 17Luang Prabang

Morning we visit the impressive stupor of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai. Climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupor as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore Street Night Market with lovely collection and handmade textile. (B, L)

Day 18Luang Prabang- Pakou Caves

After breakfast, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong. We then cruise upstream on the Mekong River for a beautiful view as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves and the village of Ban Xanghai. On return, we take a short drive to Ban Phanom. Overnight in Luang Prabang. (B, L)

Day 19Luang Prabang – Hanoi

The National Museum at the former Royal Palace and the Central Market are not to be missed. Free time for your own exploration of the town. Transfer to the airport for departure. As on arrival picked up then transfer to hotel for check in. (B, L)

Day 20Hanoi city tour

The tour is split into a morning and afternoon schedule. Which includes Ho Chi Minh Complex, The Temple of Literature in morning and Museum of Ethnology, Ngoc Son Temple, Hoan Kiem Lake and one hour Cyclo Tour through the Old Quarter in afternoon. We then enjoy a performance of the famous Water Puppet Theatre before transfer back to hotel. (B, L)

Day 21Hanoi –Ha Long Bay on Oriental Sails

Driving to Ha Long Bay in morning, embark on Oriental Sails for cruising further along the limestone islands of Fighting Cock, Turtle Island while lunch is served. We then visit Amazing Cave and kayak along the hidden parts of the bay before go swimming, snap photos or just relax as the sun starts to set.  We have dinner and stay overnight on board. (B, L, D)

Day 22Ha Long – Hanoi - Hoi An

Starting the day with swimming, exercise or photo hunt before breakfast at sunrise, we cruise to Ba Hang Fishing Village, pass Dog Rock and Incense Burner. Back to the Harbor for our transfer to Hanoi Airport, we take flight to Danang then to Hoi An by drive for check in hotel. (B, L)

Day 23Hoi An

Walking tour to visit Hoi An with numerous places of interest: Japanese Bridge, Chinese temple, Vietnamese former merchants’ house and the local fish market. After lunch, you will have a chance to ride a “Xich Lo or pedicab” through the opposite site of Hoai River and stop over the local fishing village. We then cruise to Cua Dai estuary to enjoy the sunset.  (B, L)

Day 24Hoi An - Cham Island

Transfer to Cua Dai quay in the morning for speedboat trip to Cham Island, then visit Bai Lang, which include Au Thuyen, Tay Tang pagoda and Bai Lang fishing village. Reaching Bai Xep for snorkeling relax, swim, sunbath and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch on Bai chong. Back to Hoian overnight. (B, L)

Day 25Hoi An – Danang

Free in Hoi An until our guide & driver transfer you to Danang airport for departure flight. (B)
