Day 2Hanoi Past and the Present

At 8:30 in the morning, our tour guide and driver will arrive at your hotel to begin your day of exploring Hanoi.

First, you’ll check out the One Pillar Pagoda and Ho Chi Minh’s quaint old home, both of which serve as memorials to the great Vietnamese leader.

Two hours later, you’ll visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s earliest university and a Confucian shrine (Khong Tu).

After enjoying a traditional Vietnamese meal, you’ll travel to Hanoi to see the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which showcases the country’s 54 recognized ethnic minorities.

After around 2 hours in the museum, you’ll be shuttled back to the historic district to check out Hoan Kiem Lake.

Finally, you will seat in front of a Xich Lo to travel about the Old Quarter and experience the local life in 45 minutes before going back to your hotel.

Today’s helpful note(s):

Wearing formal attire (cover your knees and shoulders) to visit various spiritual/cultural locations

The Museum of Ethnology is closing on Monday, so visitors can instead see the nearby Hoa Lo Prison.

The complex of Ho Chi Minh tomb will not open for praying on Monday or Monday so you merely tour the surrounding areas on those days

Day 3Land Route From Hanoi To Hoa Lu To Trang An And Halong Bay

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you’ll depart Hanoi at 8:00 a.m. for Ninh Binh, our destination for the day, located around 120 kilometers (75 miles) to the south.

Hoa Lu, the capital of Dai Co Viet,(an old name of Vietnam), is the first stop on this legendary tour . The unification of Vietnam after the “12 Lords Rebellion,” the conflict with the Song dynasty, the defense against ancient Cambodians, and the development of modern Hanoi all took place in Hoa Lu, the capital of the first essential Government of Vietnam.

After lunch, you’ll board a sampan and cruise via terraced rice fields to the holy Trang An Caves. This area is also known as ” Halong Bay on land” because of the massive limestone karsts that spring up out of the green rice paddies.

Experience the beauty of Trang An on the Ngo Dong River, After the cruise is over, you’ll be taken to your Ninh Binh hotel.
