This third generation musical family is live Vietnamese musical collection. The music brings this couple form a family called TrucMai house. Therefore, their lives are full of unique rhythm. Within the little and nice room, the sudden inspiration of the professional musicians fill listeners’ souls with the endless strong musical feelings.
Essential rhythm from the TamThapLuc (The zither with 36 string), bamboo flute, T’rung (bamboo tube music), K’long Put (woodwind music), sweet lullabies… could fly ones’ spirit to the remote mountain of Sapa, down to peaceful communal house near HaNoi or head to the nomadic lives in the mysterious highlands…
Beside hot tea pots or cold beer bottles, warm welcome of TrucMai house, the story about the music and all primitive musical instruments seems endless as the long journeys of households – the professional artist in the normal life.

Traditional music instruments
You will be picked and transferred to the home of artist Ngo Tuyet Mai & Artist Dinh Ha Linh (husband of Ms Mai).
On arrival, we will join a casual and inspiring musical performance by this couple. Learn about traditional Vietnamese instruments through conversations with the artists and hear performances from each family member. We will then have a memorable experience learning how to play the instruments with guidance by the warm hosts.
Note: Total trip take around 2.5hrs, of which the Home Concert Show takes 1hr.
