Itinerary

Day 1Saigon Arrival

Upon Arrival in Saigon, our car and tour guide will meet you at Tan Son Nhat Airport. Transfer to your hotel in the city centre for check-in. Free at leisure in the rest of the day.

Day 2Saigon – Cu Chi – Vinh Long

In the morning we drive out of the city, through the rubber forest to Cu Chi Tunnels. Before entering the tunnels, we watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. 
We have lunch then drive to Vinh Long.

Day 3Vinh Long – Saigon City tour – Night train

we board our private local boat to visit Cai Be floating market and its surroundings.
We then call at one of the local family workshops such as the coconut candy shop, learn how to make pop-rice, or experience a fantastic crisp rice paper making process.
Back on board to cruise through the maze of crisps-cross canals. We land at an ancient house on An Binh Island. Here we have a unique opportunity to enjoy good local folk music and taste the fresh tropical fruits of the wealthy Delta. Leisurely, we take a rowing sampan heading to a bonsai garden restaurant for our lunch.Drive 2.5 hours to come back Saigon.
Free evening until railway station see off.
23:00  SE4 night train to Nha Trang.

Day 4Nha Trang

05:40 reach Nha Trang. Pick up at railway station then we go for breakfast. We have 1 days city tour . This excursion takes you to visit a selection of the numerous attractions in Nha Trang City. First the car will drive you to Cau Da for a visit the Vietnam Oceanographic Institute. After that, you will go to Long Son Pagoda, Chong Promontory Rocks and the Po Nagar Temples. The tour end after the visit to local Dam Market.

Day 5Nha Trang – Hoi An ( Night train )

Free days to relax until see off at railway station.

Day 6Hoi An – Heritage tour.

07:50 Railway Station picks up then go for breakfast. We will enjoy traditional food ( Đặc Sản Trần) in Danang before drive to Hoian.
Hoi An is a small town in Central Vietnam famous for its wooden houses, family chapels, Assembly Halls and for its silk shops. We continue with our private car from Hoi An Town to My Son Holy Land, a World Heritage, 50 km southwest of Hoi An. Located in a lush valley, My Son was a capital and religious center of Cham people, now remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. My Son, considered to be in the same league as some of Southeast Asia’s greatest archaeological sites, including Angkor in Cambodia, Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. These towers and sanctuaries was built from the 7 to 13 centuries.
Back to Hoi An for lunch. After the relax, it is light excursion to go around tiny town of Hoi An for city tour: 400 years old Japanese Bridge, 300 years old Chinese temple, 200 years old Vietnamese former merchants’ house. Tour end at about 16.30 pm.

Day 7Hoi An

Depart at your hotel at 9:00 am, you will ride by bicycle to Tra Que Vegetable Village, experience a day of living and working with the local farmers in this village. A tour of the organic vegetable and herb gardens can include some time working in the field if you like, or merely observing and learning about the system and the fresh ingredients. Upon returning to the house, we were all treated to an herbal foot massage followed by a session of cooking various local dishes such as: Tam Huu Spring Roll, Banh Xeo or the local pancake of the people from the middle region. Biking back to your hotel, ends of tour.

 

Optional:If you don’t want to go back the hotel. You can spend more time for relax at An Bang Beach that is not far from the village, about 2km to the east of Hoi An Town. The beach is over 3 km in length and up to 300m in width. The beach boasts fine white sand, clear and blue water, moderate slopes and small waves, which make it ideal for recreational activities like swimming and enjoy cheap sea food (your own taxi if you want to drop here).

Day 8Hoi An - Hue

8.00 Am, Our guide will come to meet you at hotel and depart to Hue city; on the way stop for seeing Non Nuoc stone carving village, where the local skillful sculptors create many marble products which are exported to many countries worldwide. Visit the Cham museum where displays approximately 300 sculptures, among which some are made from terracotta from the period between the 5th and 15th. We drive across the spectacular Hai Van pass and the scenic fishing village of Lang Co. Have lunch at a local garden in Hue.

We start with a visit the Imperial Citadel, which is a walled fortress and was intended to be a copy of Chinese Emperors’ Forbidden City in Beijing, China. After access the Ngo Mon Gate, we will take in the Purple Forbidden City. The Forbidden City was reserved for the Nguyen royal family from the 18th century until the mid-1900s. Unfortunately, American bombing in 1968 in response to a communist takeover of Hue flattened most of the city. As we can see, only a few buildings are survived such as the Thai Hoa Temple, Can Thanh Temple, The Mieu, and Hieu Lam Cac, but all the remains make a well worth visit.

Day 9Hue – Hanoi ( night train)

Pick up from hotel in Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. A boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River visits Hue’s best-known religious sites, Thien Mu Pagoda.
Car pick up at Thien Mu and drive to tombs of emperors Tu Duc&Khai Dinh. This guided tour gives you a deep understanding about King’s philosophy of geomancy and how this affected royal life.

The rest time are free until railway station see off for train to Hanoi. SE4 17:11

Day 10Hanoi ( city tour)

05:00: Railway station Picked up then we go for breakfast and take coffee. Hanoi City tour by visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ethnology Museum, One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to visit the Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda.
Free afternoon.

Day 11Hanoi – Sapa ( train )

We leave Hanoi at 08.00 and head south for a 2-hour drive along Highway One. We spend one hour visiting the Dinh and Le sanctuaries and then move on to Tam Coc for a 2 hours and a half boat trip along the Boi river. Along the way we will visit caves and ancient temples. After lunch we can make a visit Bich Dong Pagodas before making our way back to Hanoi.
Transfer to railway station to get night train to Lao Cai.

Day 12Sapa

6h00: Arrive in Lao Cai station. Picked up at Laocai Station by private car and transfer to Sapa.
After breakfast. You first sneak through the market and leave the busy town behind. After a couple of minutes, you follow a road going downhill to Cat Cat village. You will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station for a while before you trek on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraced. You also will enjoy spectacular scenery while walking along a narrow river. The area is still covered by rain forest under the protection of Hoang Lien National Park. You return Sapa by car and free time for shopping.

Day 13Sapa – Hanoi (night train)

Free day.
17:00 Transfer to train station for the night train back to Hanoi.

Day 14Halong bay

05:00 Pick up at railway station then go for breakfast and coffee shop. Drive to Halong Bay.
On the way, we stop at handicraft for shopping and take a rest 30 minutes.

12:00 Embark on Oriental Sails followed by cruise briefing

Savor a delectable lunch as Oriental Sails cruise further along the limestone islands of Fighting Cock, Turtle Island…

Visit Amazing Cave and kayak along the hidden parts of the bay

Go swimming, snap photos or just relax as the sun starts to set

Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests or just laze around.

Day 15Halong - Hanoi

Start your day with swimming, exercise or photo hunt. Have breakfast at sunrise. Cruise to Ba Hang Fishing Village, pass Dog Rock and Incense Burner, and then head back to the Harbor. Disembark Oriental Sails at around 11h00
Back to Hanoi around 16h30. You have free time to go shopping or have dinner.

Day 16Hanoi ( flight home)

Free time until transfer to the airport. End tour!
