Meliá Hotels International to Debut a New Resort on Vietnam’s Idyllic Coastline. Meliá Hotels International Expands New Resort in Qui Nhon, Vietnam
Meliá Hotels International, a prominent global hotel group, is set to enhance its presence in Vietnam with the introduction of Meliá Quy Nhon Beach Resort. Scheduled to open in 2025, the resort will be located on Vietnam’s captivating central coast. Spanning 12 hectares, the resort will comprise 140 hotel rooms and 93 villas, ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms. The villas will feature infinity plunge pools offering breathtaking sea views.
Guests at Meliá Quy Nhon Beach Resort can anticipate a range of amenities and facilities, including an all-day dining restaurant, an ocean-view swimming pool with a pool bar, a ballroom suitable for weddings and events, a beach club and restaurant, a spacious spa, and a dedicated kids’ club and clubhouse. The resort’s location is in close proximity to Queens Beach, known for its golden sand and unique egg-like rocks. The vicinity also offers attractions such as the Cham Towers and an abundance of fresh seafood.
Ignacio Martin, Meliá’s managing director for Southeast Asia, highlighted the allure of Quy Nhon as an emerging destination, with its diverse natural landscapes comprising tropical jungles, mangrove forests, and pristine beaches. The resort plans to infuse Mediterranean flavors into its menu items, showcasing the rich array of local seafood and produce. Spanish influence will be reflected in the offering of tapas, Spanish wine, cocktails, and mocktails, allowing guests to experience the renowned Spanish culinary culture.
Meliá Hotels International is committed to ensuring the wellbeing of its guests and the planet. From providing organic and healthy choices in the mini-bar to hosting yoga and meditation classes, guest wellbeing is carefully considered. The company also prioritizes sustainability by implementing recycling programs and reducing single-use amenities and plastic bottles. Notably, Meliá Hotels International has been recognized as the most sustainable hotel brand in Europe and Spain for three consecutive years.
The partnership between Meliá and Paradise Joint Stock Company, a local corporation driving various industrial projects in the region, solidifies the resort’s development. This collaboration follows Meliá’s recent incorporation of 12 hotels in Vietnam under the Melia Vinpearl brand, positioning the hotel group as the second largest in Vietnam in terms of room count. Meliá Hotels International entered the Vietnamese market over two decades ago and currently operates 24 hotels and resorts with 6,652 keys. The company remains committed to expanding its presence in the country.
Meliá Quy Nhon Beach Resort will join Meliá Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio of beachfront resorts in Vietnam, complementing properties in Da Nang, Ho Tram, and Nha Trang. With its picturesque location and exceptional offerings, the resort aims to provide guests with an unforgettable experience along Vietnam’s enchanting central coast.
