What to Expect
    Itinerary

    Day 1Hanoi Arrival

    Upon arrival in Hanoi you will be welcome at the airport by ATM guide/leader for a transfer to your hotel (approx.. 45 minutes).

    Day 2Hanoi city Tour (B)

    After breakfast this morning ,ATM guide?leader will meet you and start your tour at Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum .Then it’s on to the wooden ethnic minority style house whis was his residence from 1954 to 1969 .In the same complex you also see the One Pillar Pagoda, which was found in 1049 by the King Ly Thai To,who moved the capital to Hanoi in 1010. After HCM’s mausoleum you will visit the Vietnamese Women’s Museum .
    In the afternoon ,continue to visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. Constructed in 1070, the beautiful gardens and well-Preserved architecture offer visitors a glimpse into Vietnam’s past.
    At the end of the day , take a walking tour of Hanoi’s old quarter, it also known as the 36 streets. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It is a great place to explore with plenty of photo opportunities. Your tour includes a stop at a typical old house to learn about the architecture , the change of people ,life and the city itself over the years .

    Day 3Hanoi-Halong (B,L,D)

    After breakfast and check out the hotel ,you will be pick up and leave Hanoi for the drive to Halong Bay.
    Arrive at the dock almost mid day to check your overnight cruise. After all passengers on board the boat sets sail through the beautiful bay .

    Day 4Halong – Hanoi Airport –Hoian (B)

    In the morning there will more time for a further excursion and breakfast (or brunch) as the boat weaves its way back to the dock .On arrival your guide and driver will meet you for the transfer to Hanoi airport for the flight to Danang.

    Day 5Hoian –Myson (B)

    This morning your guide will pick you up at the hotel and drive to Myson ,the capital and religious centre of the former Champa kingdom .It located 40km southwest of Hoi An in a lush green velley ,with a dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between 7th and 13th centuaries.Here you will troll around to see the ruin temples and hear the tales of the Champa Kingdom.
    In the afternoon return to Hoi An and enjoy a walking tour of the ancient town centre to visit former merchant’s houses ,the 400 years old Japanese cover bridge , a Chinese communal house and the colourful market.

    Day 7Hoi An – Hue (B)

    Enjoy your breakfast and check out the hotel before departing for Hue .
    Stop en route in Da Nang to visit the Cham museum which contains the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world. Afterwards take the scenic route over the Hai Van Pass, also known as the pass of Ocean Clouds , drive through the beautiful fishing village of Lang Co ,a very picturesque journey .
    Arrive at Hue and transfer to your hotel for check in .

    Day 8Hue (B)

    This morning ATM guide will pick up you at the hotel and transfer to a local boat jetty for a 45 minutes boat ride upstream on the perfume river to Thien Mu Pagoda ,constructed between 1601 and 1842 by the royal Nguyen family .From here drive on to the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945.
    Depart for the mausoleum of Tu Duc ,built decades before his death ,the tomb was used as a palace retreat before becoming the emperor’s resting place .Continue to Khai Dinh”s tomb , which is traditional Vietnamese in design with a European touch making it unique from the other tombs in Hue.

    Day 9Hue –Ho Chi Minh City (B)

    Leave your hotel for a 30 minutes drive to Hue airport and take a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
    Upon arrival meet with your ATM guide and transfer to your hotel .

    Day 10Ho Chi Minh (B)

    At 08:00 Depart for 2 hours drive to Cuchi Tunnels ,an incredible network of the tunnels constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters (VC) during the French and American Wars .You will visit the Ben Dinh sections of the tunnels and have the opportunity to crawl a short section to imagine what it might have been like as a resistance fighter.
    In the afternoon ,return Hochiminh from cuchi tunnels you will visit the War Remnants museum ,a moving display of some of the realities of modern warfare .Then take short drive to the iconic Saigon Saigon central post office built in 1886 .Based on the design of famous French architect Gustave Eiffel .From here you can choose to walk down (or sit on the air- con vehicle) on to Dong Khoi street to see most the major sights of colonial Hochiminh city : The Opera House ,the Continental Hotel ,The city Hall and the Ben Thanh Central market where you can purchase some items that you like before transferred back to your hotel.

    Day 11Ho Chi Minh City – Can Tho (B,L,D)

    This morning, leave bustling Ho Chi Minh City for 4-hour drive to the capital of the Mekong Delta Can Tho City .Arrive in Can tho at noon to board your boat , the Bassac .A welcome drink will be given on board and followed by an introduction to the ship a the and crew .
    The boat sets sail downstream on the Hau (lower Mekong ) river and enjoy lunch on the upper deck while en route.
    Rest on the upper deck and enjoy the scenery of rice and sugar can fields as well as villages built on the river banks. By mid afternoon ,the Bassac will cast anchor for a local shore excursion to visit a typical Mekong Delta Village.Discover the way of life of the friendly locals and pass by rice fields, fruit orchards and countless tiny rivers . Back on board a complimentary drink will be served , sit back and enjoy the sunset before dinner is served ,while the Bassac is cruising the mang Thit river towards her anchorage point for the night.

    Day 12Can Tho City – Ho Chi Minh City (B)

    Breakfast is available while Bassac cruises towards Can Tho .Upon arrival at the Cai rang floating market just outside Can Tho you will check out your cabin and transfer onto a local boat to visit the market ,the nearby canals and gardens ,ending at the Ninh Kieu pier late in this morning .Your guide and drive await you for 4-hour drive back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City .
