Tour Descriptions

The iron and steel vessel, Silver Sea Cruise Halong Bay, set sail in 2015 and underwent a full refurbishment in 2022. It features 18 comfortable and roomy accommodations.
The upper-floor suites are the only ones with private balconies, while the premium rooms on that level all have shared balconies.
First-floor cabins only have windows and no balconies.

The cruise departs from Tuan Chau marina harbor, and a comfortable shuttle bus will take you back and forth to Hanoi.

Itinerary

Day 1Hanoi - Halong Bay - On Board Cruise

Pickup from your hotel will occur between 7:45 and 8:15, and you’ll be on your way to Ha Long City.

At 12:30, you’ll arrive at Tuan Chau marina harbor to board your cruise, where the experienced and cheerful crew will give you a hearty welcome.

At 13:00, you can settle into your cabin and feast on a carefully prepared lunch while you sail past the bay’s most picturesque areas, where thousands of incredible limestone islands rise out of the emerald sea. If you take a sail along a calm route and discover the exotic splendor of the fabled Bay, you will have a taste of paradise.

At 14:30, continue your cruise to the most stunning regions of Halong Bay. After lunch, take advantage of the peace and quiet to wander around the bay and take some beautiful pictures.

At 15:00, a small tender will take you to Titop island, where you can go to the peak for a breathtaking vista of Halong Bay.

Kayaking and swimming at 16:30

At 18:00, come out to the sundeck for some drinks, some appetizers, and some light music as you watch the sun go down over the horizon and make some new acquaintances.
At 19.00, tuck into the gourmet meal prepared by our seasoned chef.

At approximately 20:30, you will be free to unwind in any manner best suits you, be it by listening to music, singing karaoke, lounging on the sundeck, or engaging in some squid fishing for evening amusement.

Day 2Halong Bay - Hanoi

At dawn, join our Tai Chi class for a refreshing and rejuvenating workout that will leave you feeling ready to take on the day.

At seven o’clock, chow down on some eggs, bacon, toast, and fruit.

At 8:00, go see Surprising Cave, also known as Sung Sot Cave or Amazing Cave, the most stunning cave in all of Halong Bay.

At nine o’clock, it’s time to head back to the ship and check out. You’ll see hundreds of islands and islets along the way to Ha Long Bay, and their shapes may vary depending on yours.

At 10:00, the cruise’s onboard cooking school welcomed its first students.

Before returning to port at 11 a.m., passengers will enjoy a final lunch on the ship.

As of 12:30, board the bus bound for Hanoi.

At 16:00, you will be taken back to your hotel.

Halong Bay General Terms and Conditions

The time to check in is:
The time to check in is between 12:15 and 12:30. If you are going to be traveling by yourself, please arrive at the dock by 11:45 a.m. at the latest so that you can check-in before boarding.

Check-out time:
Depending on the itinerary of each ship, check-out time might be anywhere from 10:00 and 11:00 in the morning. After you have checked out of the hotel, you will be served lunch on board the cruise prior to its docking.

On the Bay:

The following are the regulations governing the registration and check-in processes for overnight stays: At least five days before the tour leaves, you will need to provide a photo of your identity card or birth certificate to us, and you will need to have these papers with you when you check-in.

Cancellation:
In general, promotional rates are not refundable and cannot be canceled, and the dates on which they are valid are subject to change. In the event that you wish to alter the date, please get in touch with us so that we can provide you with further information.

Cancellation due to weather circumstances The Bay Management shall be entirely responsible for trip cancellations that are caused by adverse weather conditions. On the policy regarding delays and cancellations caused by the weather, please refer to the information provided by Halong Cruise.

Guidelines for the eating and drinking policies:
As well as the rules about bringing your own beverages on board: Please let us know as soon as possible before the day of departure if you are a vegetarian, follow a special diet, or have an allergy to seafood (particularly, the name of seafood that is inedible). Concerning the bringing of alcoholic beverages, the Cruise imposes a cost on each and every type of alcoholic beverage consumed on board. Since the amount varies depending on the boat, we ask that you let us know as soon as you register for the tour.

Children Policies

4 years old: Without charge (share transfer seats & bed with adults)

From 4 to 8/9 years: 75% of adult prices if using an extra bed in the stateroom - varies per voyage

From 9 and a half to 10 years old: 100% adult prices - varies by cruise

Cancellation Policies

Cancellations are not effective until our sales office gets written notice of cancellation to sales@asiatravelmates.com

For guests traveling alone or in groups with fewer than six people:
If canceled up to 7 days before the date of arrival, there is no price.
If canceled up to 3 days prior to arrival, 50% of the entire reservation fee will be charged.

If canceled within 1 day of arrival, the complete cost of the reservation will be charged.

For groups containing more than six people:
If canceled up to 10 days before the date of arrival, there is no price.

If canceled up to 5 days prior to arrival, 50% of the entire reservation fee will be charged.

In the event of late arrival or no-show, the complete amount of the reservation will be charged.

For guests whose party charters the boat

If canceled up to 30 days before the date of arrival, there is no price.

If canceled up to 15 days prior to the date of arrival, 50 percent of the entire reservation fee will be charged.

In the event of late arrival or no-show, the complete amount of the reservation will be charged.

Surcharge

25 percent surcharge for Christmas, New Year's Eve, and Chinese New Year

The daily shuttle bus details

The daily shuttle bus departs Hanoi Old Quarter between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. and arrives in Halong Bay between 12:00 and 12:30 p.m.

Disclaimer

Registration is necessary. The guest must contact us one day in advance to provide the following passport information: full name, gender, date of birth, nationality, passport number, and visa expiration date... Guests will receive an introduction to the check-in process, policies, etc., but we will not be liable for any additional fees incurred due to lateness or absence. All of the examples listed above are deemed no-shows (not arrival).
