Journey Intro

Nine days. One family. A journey paced for young children.

9 Days Of Family Fun In Vietnam has been designed specifically for families with young children. The itinerary balances hands-on cultural activities — lantern making in Hoi An, floating markets in the Mekong Delta, cooking classes — with the kind of downtime that small travellers need. Shorter travel days, more pool time, and a private guide trained to work with young children.

The journey runs for 9 days, beginning in Saigon and ending on the beaches of Da Nang. Families travel privately throughout, with flexible pacing that adapts to the energy levels of the group. Every stop has been chosen for its ability to engage children of all ages — from the boats of the Mekong Delta to the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An and the family-friendly resorts of Da Nang.

An Expert’s Note

From Andy Nguyen

“This is the journey I recommend most often to families with young children. The pace has been designed for shorter attention spans, and every day has been chosen so the children are curious, engaged, and never overwhelmed. The Mekong Delta and the lantern workshop in Hoi An are always the two things families tell me about most.”

Real Stories, Real Families

Genuine testimonials from families who have taken this journey.

“We travelled with a 4-year-old and a 7-year-old and this was the perfect introduction to Vietnam. The Mekong Delta boat trip was magical for them — fruit, boats, water buffalo, all of it. The pacing meant we never felt rushed, and the hotels had everything we needed.”

The O’Sullivan Family Ireland · Travelled: February 2026

“The lantern-making workshop was the highlight for our daughter, and the cooking class was the highlight for our son. Nine days was exactly right — long enough to see a lot, short enough that everyone stayed happy.”
