Embark on an unforgettable journey through the remote and breathtaking province of Ha Giang in Vietnam. In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and begin our journey to Ha Giang, a remote and stunning province in Vietnam. As we drive, you'll be captivated by the grandiose mountains and unique rock formations along the way. Ha Giang is known for its ethnic diversity, with the Hmong, Tay, Dao, and Nung communities adding to the cultural richness of the region. After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we continue our drive to Quan Ba Heaven Gate. Upon arrival in Quan Ba, we'll take a leisurely walk up a hill to enjoy the breathtaking view of Quan Ba town and capture photos of the Co Tien Double Mountain. We then proceed to Nam Dam village in Quan Ba, where we'll spend the night at a homestay. Nam Dam village is a charming place nestled in a valley, surrounded by karst mountains. It offers a glimpse into the preserved traditions, customs, and culture of ancient times. Take a leisurely stroll through the village and admire the magnificent view of the high mountains and lovely terraced fields. The sun glistens on the houses with earthen walls, creating a picturesque scene. In the evening, we'll have dinner with our local host and spend the night at the homestay.
After breakfast, we'll check out and embark on our day's adventures. We drive through the scenic Yen Minh pass, where you'll be enchanted by the spectacular views of limestone mountains and valleys. We'll make a stop at Pho Cao pass, also known as Tham Ma pass, to capture photos of the famous Happiness Road. Next, we visit Lung Cam village, a cultural village where the movie "Story of Pao" was filmed. This film won four Golden Kite Prizes, the equivalent of the Oscars in Vietnam. Immerse yourself in the village's captivating ambiance and learn about its historical and cultural significance. Continuing our journey, we'll visit The King Palace, a magnificent architectural site of the Hmong people. This palace holds great historical value and provides insight into the local heritage. Afterward, we'll enjoy lunch and then head to Lung Cu, home to the iconic national flag tower and the northernmost point of Vietnam. In the evening, we'll arrive in Dong Van, where we'll spend the night in a hotel. Our guide will take you to a local restaurant for dinner, followed by a walk to explore the charming old town of Dong Van.
After an early breakfast and check-out, we start our day's adventure at 7:30 am. Our first stop is the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, where we'll visit the "Happiness Road Museum" and take a short walk to the top of this awe-inspiring pass. Prepare to be amazed by the breathtaking panoramic views. Continuing on the Happiness Road, we'll have opportunities to stop for photos and enjoy a coffee break amidst the stunning scenery. Our journey then takes us to the enchanting Nho Que River, which winds through the mountains of northeast Vietnam. The river boasts a mesmerizing turquoise blue color, contrasting with the vibrant green patches of forest. We'll embark on a boat trip along the river, exploring the scenic beauty and visiting Tu San alley, one of the deepest alleys in Southeast Asia. After the boat trip, we'll return to Quan Ba and enjoying a motorbike ride back to the car. From there, we'll drive to a beautiful H'mong village, a mountain resort where we'll relax and enjoy dinner.
As our Ha Giang adventure comes to a close, we'll embark on the journey back to Hanoi, a scenic drive that will take approximately 7 hours. Along the way, we'll make a stop for a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor some delicious Vietnamese cuisine.
