Hanoi Classic 1-Day Tour
Our flagship day in Hanoi — the essential introduction covering the city’s most iconic landmarks, its historic core and the culture that shaped modern Vietnam.
Explore Hanoi in a single day through its historic Old Quarter, lakes, temples, French-era architecture, museums, food culture and surrounding countryside. Choose a classic city tour or a more focused experience — or ask our local team to customize a private day in Hanoi.
Hanoi rewards a slower look — but even one day can go deep, if it’s planned around what you actually want to see.
Some visitors want the essentials in one sweep — Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter, the Temple of Literature, the Ho Chi Minh complex. Others want food, streets, crafts, photography, or a single day outside the city to Ninh Binh or Ha Long Bay. This page gathers our Hanoi day tours in one place, grouped by type so you can compare, combine, or customize.
Full-day experiences that stay primarily within Hanoi — its lakes, streets, temples, museums and food.

Our flagship day in Hanoi — the essential introduction covering the city’s most iconic landmarks, its historic core and the culture that shaped modern Vietnam.

A curated day through Hanoi’s historic layers — French colonial architecture, ancient temples and the quiet monuments that tell the city’s long story.

Spend the day inside the Old Quarter — its market streets, craft lanes, tube houses and everyday life — with time to slow down and actually look.

A full day of eating Hanoi — from morning phở and bánh mì to bún chả, egg coffee, bánh cuốn and evening beer hoi on the street.

For travelers who want context, not just sightseeing — a day built around Hanoi’s museums, historic sites and cultural collections.

A day about the everyday city — markets, alleys, train street, local cafés and the rhythms of neighborhoods outside the main sights.

See Hanoi the classic way — from a cyclo through the Old Quarter and around Hoan Kiem Lake, with walking sections through the busiest lanes.

See Hanoi from the back of a motorbike — weaving through neighborhoods, market streets, and areas most visitors never reach on foot.

A day designed for photographers — early light at the lake, street life in the Old Quarter, and locations chosen for composition and atmosphere.
Days that pair Hanoi with a nearby traditional village or rural destination — easy half- to full-day escapes from the city.

Combine Hanoi’s highlights with Bat Trang, the historic ceramic village on the Red River famous for its pottery workshops and kilns.

Visit Duong Lam, one of Vietnam’s oldest surviving villages, with its laterite houses, communal halls and quiet country lanes.

A gentle day outside the city — rice paddies, village roads, local markets and the slower rhythms of the Red River Delta.
Longer excursions outside Hanoi — for travelers with one day available and a clear destination in mind.

A full day from Hanoi to Ninh Binh — boat rides through Trang An, the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, and the dramatic karst scenery of the Red River Delta.

A long but rewarding day from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay — a cruise through the limestone islands, caves and floating fishing villages of the UNESCO-listed bay.

Yes. All our Hanoi 1-day tours are private, with your own guide and vehicle. This gives you flexibility on timing, stops and pace.
Most full-day tours run roughly 8:00–17:00. Half-day tours run either morning or afternoon. Longer day trips to Ninh Binh or Ha Long Bay typically run 7:00–19:00. We can adjust start times to fit your schedule.
They offer very different experiences. Ninh Binh is closer, quieter, and combines boat rides with karst scenery and ancient capital history. Ha Long Bay is a longer day but offers the iconic bay cruise. If you only have one day, Ninh Binh is usually the more comfortable option; Ha Long Bay works best with an overnight.
