The Developer Behind the Brands

Sun Group brings the world’s hotel brands to Vietnam.

Founded in 2007, Sun Group is one of Vietnam’s leading private economic groups. It develops world-class tourism, entertainment, real estate and aviation projects across the country, and its hospitality arm — Sun Hospitality & Entertainment (S.H.E.) — manages a portfolio of award-winning hotels, resorts and golf courses.

Sun Group is not a hotel brand itself. It is the developer and owner behind many of Vietnam’s most ambitious hospitality destinations. Its strategy has been to partner with the world’s leading hotel management groups — Accor and Marriott International — to bring internationally recognised brands to Vietnam for the first time. In Phu Quoc and Da Nang, Sun Group is creating entire hospitality ecosystems: resort and entertainment destinations, infrastructure, aviation and the hotels that sit within them.

Our Approach

We include Sun Group as a verified Vietnamese hospitality group because it is the developer behind hotels that carry international brand names. When you stay at an Accor or Marriott property in Phu Quoc or Da Nang, Sun Group is often the company that built it.

Partnerships

The brands Sun Group is bringing to Vietnam.

Sun Group’s hospitality strategy is built on partnerships with the world’s largest hotel groups. Through these partnerships, several international brands are making their Vietnamese debut.

Accor Partnership

Accor

In July 2026, Sun Group and Accor elevated their decade-long partnership with an agreement covering nearly 6,000 hotel rooms and serviced apartments in Phu Quoc and Da Nang. Sofitel, Swissôtel, TRIBE and SO/ will make their Vietnamese debuts through this partnership.
