Where higher limits apply in specific destinations or for specific activities, this will be stated in your Booking Confirmation.

02Optional Activities

For journeys including kayaking, trekking, cycling, diving or adventure experiences, your policy must specifically cover these activities. Standard policies may exclude them.

03Providing Proof of Insurance

Please send a copy of your insurance certificate to hello@asiatravelmates.com, or through your dedicated specialist, no later than 14 days before departure.

Where the certificate does not clearly show the required coverage, we may request a fuller policy document.

04Why It Is Mandatory

Comprehensive travel insurance protects you — and those traveling with you — in the event of illness, accident, disruption or loss. Travel through remote regions of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia involves variables outside our control. Insurance ensures that unexpected events are handled without financial burden to travelers or suppliers.

05Age & Pre-Existing Conditions

Certain policies may require additional coverage for travelers over a certain age, or for pre-existing medical conditions. Please check your policy carefully. Where we are aware of specific medical requirements, we will advise you and work with you to make sure your policy covers them.

06Failure to Insure

If proof of insurance is not provided by the deadline, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled under the Cancellation Policy, and the Client may not be permitted to join the journey.
